It is with great sadness that the families of Joan Mable King announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Friday, February 24th, 2012, at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Janice (Mike), of Corner Brook, Arlene (Cliff), Tom (Ashley) both of Edmonton, Alberta, & Ernie (Michelle) of Pasadena, NL ,her grandchildren; Susan (Monty), Sherry (Clint), Chad (Roxy) all of Deer Lake, Kayley, Dalton, Nicholas, Belle, all of Edmonton, Alberta, Connor of Pasadena, NL,her step grandchild; Jesse, her great grandchildren; Morgan, Brooke, Heather, Aaron, & Faith all of Deer Lake, NL, her siblings; Ron Osmond of Deer Lake, NL, & Beth (Lew) Sibley of Halifax, her daughter in law; Marilyn King of Deer Lake, NL ,her sisters in laws; Lennie (Ev) Wagg of Ontario, & Betty Critch of Deer Lake, NL, her close friends; Helen Cooper, & Toot Janes,both of Deer Lake, NL, also leaves to mourn a large number of other relatives, family, and friends. Joan was predeceased by her husband; Jack King, son; Barry King, sister; Ellie Janes, brother; Watson Critch, and her parents; Mose & Eunice Critch, & step grandchild; Tyler. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, on Wednesday, February 29th, 2012, from the hours of 2 - 4 pm. Where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at 2: Pm, with Pastor Coles officiating with the burial to follow at the Family plot of the Deer Lake, Cemetery, Wight's Road, the funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
