DEMARNI DeMarni, John Baptiste, born in Kamloops, BC on November 9th, 1932 passed away February 23rd, 2007 at the age of 74 years. John leaves behind his son John Andrew and grandsons John Cole and Harley Angelo. He will also be dearly missed by his beloved wife Ursula and his extended family Laurie and Greg Lasota, grandson Damon and his very special granddaughter Carly Rose his "Little Garabella". John is well known in the cattle industry and for his passion ~ Thoroughbred Horse Racing. His last ten years were spent in Salmon Arm pursuing the quest of winning the "Big One" at Teletheatre racing. John touched many lives through the years, as he was that rare breed "Gentle Cowboy". John wanted no fuss at his passing. Memorial donations in John's name may be made to the Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association of BC, P.O. Box 28530, Burnaby, BC, V5C 6J4.
