AUGUSTINE, JOSEPH PERRY (STRONG HEART) - 1968 - 2012 - ELSIPOGTOG, NB - Perry Augustine, 44, of Pictou Landing First Nation, NS passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24th, 2012 at the Aberdeen Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow, NS after a lengthy illness. Born in Moncton, Perry was the son of Edward John and Frances Josephine (Levi) Augustine. Perry was employed as a fisherman. He attended St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Pictou Landing First Nation. Perry will be sadly missed by his wife; Martha (Denny) Augustine, his parents; Edward and
Josephine Augustine of Elsipogtog, paternal grandmother; Stella Augustine of Elsipogtog, two sisters; Edwena Kay Ann Augustine (Jamie) and Nerissa Sally-Lu Augustine both of Elsipogtog, two brothers; Mark David Augustine (Crystal) of Pictou Landing First Nation and Park Noland Augustine (Denise) of Elsipogtog, many nieces & nephews, five God children and his pet dog; Zoey. Perry was predeceased by his paternal grand father; David Augustine and his maternal grand parents; John Levi & Mary (Milliea) Levi.
Perry will be resting at 73 Army Street, Elsipogtog with visitation beginning on Tuesday at 2:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at 11:00 am, St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
