Sept. 10th, 1923 - Feb. 25th, 2012 - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Complex on Sunday, February 25th, 2012, in the arms of his loving wife, Sally. Predeceased by three infant sons his brother Daniel (Mulliah) Kelly of Gambo, brother Bernard (Ivy) Kelly of Windsor, sister Hazel (Joe) O'Rielly, brothers-in-law: Michael (Mary), Edward, Stan (Mary), Stephen, and Jim (Marion) Hickey. Leaving to mourn his wife of fifty-seven years, Sally; daughters: Stephanie Kelly, Linda McGrath (Tony); son Larry (Denise) Kelly; grandchildren: Nicole Kelly, Danielle (Sean) Holloway, Meagan (Sean) Speagle, Rhiannon Thomas, Delyth Thomas, Rebekah Lash, Kyle Lash, Aaron McGrath, Sarah (Patrick) White, Keegan McGrath, Michaela McGrath; brothers Hazen, Fr. Leonard Kelly; sisters: Marie Fallon and Lucille Harty; brothers-in-law: Tom (Kay), Vincent (Eileen), George (Doll) Hickey; sisters-in-law: Mary (Phllipe) Belanger, Maudie Whelan, Rita Hickey, Bride Hickey, best friend Bill Abbott; as well as many other family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Vaughn-Jackson and Dr. Eric Stone for their many years of continuous care of our husband and father and to the doctors and staff of the Health Science Complex for their care and kindness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Tuesday, Wednesday, February 28th and 29th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Msgr. Francis Puddister at Mary Queen of Peace, Torbay Road on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at 11 a.m.. Interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Logy Bay Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Queen of Peace Food Bank will be gratefully appreciated.
