Brenda Maureen Knippelberg We are saddened to announce the passing of Brenda Maureen Knippelberg March 5th, 2007 after her courageous battle with cancer. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Phil Knippelberg; her only son Shawn (Tanya); her daughters Tanya (Wayne) and Tara (Mike); her deeply loved grandsons Brandon, Connor and Logan; her father Carl Lepine (Helen); her two brothers Gary and Les; as well as her numerous family (MJB); and many friends. Brenda is predeceased by her loving Angel Baby Jordyn Grace Closson and her mother Grace Lepine. Brenda's joy of life and family touched all who knew and loved her. She took every opportunity to brag about all of her grandchildren, never letting anyone get away without hearing at least one story of their recent accomplishments. Brenda had a true passion for fishing, gardening and enjoying her home and yard at Pinantan Lake. Her passing leaves emptiness in our hearts but we will be comforted by the joyful memories we have, and we are filled with peace knowing that her last words were "I'M SO HAPPY!" A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 11th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Schoening Funeral Chapel with Reverend Patricia McColl officiating. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses at Royal Inland Hospital 3 West, the palliative care nurses, as well as Dr. Sladden, Dr. Dong and The Reverend Viktor Gundel, Hospital Chaplain.
