Remembering a Loving Dad

June 21, 1947 – March 4, 2009

Three years ago today dear Dad,
God came to take you home,
Angels were singing in Heaven,
And you were called upon.
We asked God not to take you,
But He promised us two things,
He said He would take care of you,
And free you of your pain.
From that day on to present,
Life without you isn’t the same,
And until we meet again dear Dad,
We will be your “blue eyes crying in the rain.”
