It is with sorrow and joy that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Violet Bertha Perry Walbourne on Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 93 years. Left with precious memories are her six children: David (Patsy) Perry, Harvey (Pearl) Perry, Calvin (Barbara) Perry, Douglas (Brenda) Perry, Frona Langdon (Selby) and Harold (Helena) Perry; 19 grandchildren: David, Robert, Donald, Dale, Andrew, Wayne, Treena, Jeffrey, Trudy, Shawn, Todd, Lisa, Cory, Debbie, Troy, Mark, Zachery, Ruth Ann and Jessica; 26 great grandchildren; sisters: Jessie and Pearl; brothers: Aubrey, Gerard and Vernon; as well as the Walbourne family, a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by husbands: Robert Perry and Frank Walbourne; infant daughter, Iris; sisters: Hazel, Ruth, Vera and Maisie; brothers: Clyde, Leslie, Roy and Ralph. Friends may visit Pasadena Pentecostal Church in Pasadena on Friday, 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 4th at 2:00 p.m. Pastor William Cole officiating with interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to “Child Care Plus”.
