Suddenly at home, Sunday, Dec. 6, of Eleanor (MacNutt) MacLeod, age 57 years, of Halifax. Born in Malpeque, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Frank & Gwen MacNutt. She is survived by her husband, Lewis MacLeod, and her sister, Isabel MacNutt. She is also survived by her aunts, Marjorie Underwood, Halifax; Mary MacLean, Summerside; Jean Burch, Charlottetown; and great-aunt, Doris Carr, Summerside. She was a graduate of MSVU and was retired from Maritme Tel & Tel. Memorial service will be held at Cruickshanks Funeral Home Halifax Chapel, 2032 Robie St. at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec 10. Interment will take place next summer in Malpeque, P.E.I. If so desired, donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
