CLINTON, PATRICIA IRENE - It is with great sadness the family announce the death of Patricia Clinton who passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital on Friday, March 2, 2012, surrounded by her family. Born March of 1938 in Saint John, the daughter of the late Stanley and Irene (Ryan) Stewart. Patricia worked for Gilbert McGloan Gillis as a legal secretary for 40 years and served as past president of the Bayview Credit Union. She was a past member of St. Mary & St. Bartholomew’s Church and enjoyed Bingo, harness racing and reading. She will be forever loved and missed by those who knew her. Pat is survived by her son Michael Clinton (Lorraine) of Saint John and daughter Debbie Wright (Dave) of St. Andrews; grandchildren Trisha (Matt), Jenna, Jeremy, Trevor and Carter; two precious great-grandchildren Izabella and Cayden; brother Doug Stewart (Gerry) of Quispamsis, Rick Stewart (Cindy) of PEI; sister Janice Sessa of Kelowna, BC; sisters-in-law Maureen and Helen; several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers David and Robert.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road with visitation on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Pat’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
