MacDONALD, GERALD “GERRY” - With extreme sadness we announce Gerald MacDonald’s passing on March 4, 2012. Gerry went to be with our Lord peacefully with his family at his side;he is in our Heavenly Father’s arms forever. Born March 5, 1953 in Montague, PEI, the son of the late Alphonse and Mary (MacDonald) Flynn. Gerry is survived by his loving wife Nancy MacDonald; sons Lou and Cory (Sarah); step-children Sam, Jeanne (Paul), Brigitte (Cory), Nicholas (Chelsey); grandchildren whom he adored and loved Courtney, Brittany, Bailee, Brandon and Caleb; brothers David (Rose), Ralph and Kenneth (Virginia); sisters Marie (Kenny), Roslee (John), Lorraine (Mark) several nieces and nephews; best friends Carol and Glen and favorite sister-in-law Becky; last but not least his beloved best friend Buddy his black lab. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Gerald MacDonald and brother Earl Flynn.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Private family interment at a later date.
