Della Grace Swallow Della passed away peacefully on Monday April 9, 2007 at her home in the Pine Grove Care Center. She will be dearly missed by her son, Doug and Theresa Swallow; daughter Margie and Rocky Hudson; and her grandchildren Michelle, Bob, Marlon, Jenny, Brody and Brian. Della was predeceased by her loving husband Jerry Swallow; her father John A. Parker; mother Catherine Agnes Parker; her brother Bill; and by her sisters Isabel, Clara, Nora and Alma. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters Pat (Doug) Cookson and Claudia Olson. Della was born and grew up on the farm in Montmartre, Saskatchewan. She received her RN qualification in Saskatchewan and Ontario and began a lifelong career of nursing and caring for others. God has you in His keeping, We have you in our heart. A Service to Celebrate Della's life will be held in the chapel of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 177 Tranquille Rd. at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Pinegrove Care Centre for their compassionate care of Della during the past 5 years.
