The death occurred suddenly and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, March 2, 2012, of Ronald Edward Winchester of Summerside, aged 55 years. Ronnie was born on Feb. 19, 1957, in Summerside, to his late mother Ida Virr (Winchester). Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Gay) Winchester and loving father of Tanya Winchester (Cory), Ashley Winchester and Allison Winchester, all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his grandsons Carter and Koby (on the way), granddaughter Faith and nieces Leah and Brittany Virr. Survived by his brothers Gerald Winchester of Summerside, Raymond Virr, Steve Virr and Dan (Denise) Virr and his stepfather Raymond A. Virr, all of Hamilton, Ont. Besides his mother Ronnie was predeceased by his grandparents Mel and Anna Winchester. By family request, there will be a private memorial service for family only at a later date.
