It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mary C. MacKeigan, age 64, a resident of Florence on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at her home.
Born in North Sydney, Mary was the daughter of the late Frederick and Leona Scott.
Surviving are her husband, David MacKeigan; two sons, Tim and Rocky Zuberovic, Ontario; her stepson, David Purves MacKeigan; and grandson, David MacKeigan; her two sisters, Gert Kelly, Sydney Mines, and Theresa Marsh, North Sydney.
She was predeceased by her three brothers, George, Raymond and Tom and one sister, Jean.
There will be no visitation or service by request.
Arrangements are under the direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
