DASH 1930 - 2007 Agnes Johanna Dash (nee Heggestad) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 11th, 2007 at the Overlander Extended Care Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Leo, also sons Greg (Gloria) Dash of Cache Creek, Terry (Karen) Dash of Calgary; and daughter Sheila Pettypiece (Brian Maguire) of Ladner; as well as eight grandchildren Kenton (Jeanette), Jarrett (Lindsay), Courtney, Eamonn, Jorel, Elyse, Hillary and Tanne; also one great granddaughter Gwyneth. She also leaves to cherish her memory three brothers Norman (Irene) Heggestad, Omar Heggestad and Jerome (Lynn) Heggestad all of Frontier, Saskatchewan; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Agnes was born May 18th, 1930 in Frontier, Saskatchewan. She graduated in nursing from Regina General Hospital in 1953. Her career spanned thirty-seven years taking her to many hospitals in Saskatchewan, Alberta and B.C. She was a passionate, caring person who was devoted to her family, friends and profession. She was constantly on the go, thus called "Dash the mover". She rarely stood still for a moment, so full of energy and life. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at the Overlander Extended Care Hospital for all their compassion and care they gave Agnes. She leaves us to reunite with her favorite niece Norma Wingerak "two angels at peace". Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Monday, April 16th, 2007 between the hours of 7-9 P.M. in the Rosewood Room, Kamloops Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Terry Sauder officiating. Interment to follow Hillside Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. Central Interior, Box 277, Station M., Kamloops B.C., V2C 5K6 in memory of Agnes.
