The death occurred peacefully at Souris Hospital on December 8, 2009, surrounded by her nieces and nephews of Anne Dugas of Georgetown and formerly of Souris West in her 79th year. Beloved daughter of the late John and Cecilia Dugas of Souris West. Predeceased by her sisters; Edna Jennings, Ethel Doucette, Mae Gallant, Alice Martell, Maude Cheverie and Rita Gauthier. Survived by brother-in-law Eddy Gauthier of Souris. “Special Aunt” of numerous nieces and nephews and “Special Friend” of Barb Carroll. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Thursday till time of funeral. Funeral to be held at St. Alexis Roman Catholic Church on Thursday afternoon December 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
