SCHANZENBACH March 2, 1940 ~ April 15, 2007 Iris Schanzenbach passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family and holding hands with Daniel, her beloved husband of 40 years. She will be forever missed by her children, Dan (Cindy), Victor (Stacie), and Catalina (Kyle) and by her grandchildren Amanda, Brandon, Ethan, Mason, and Owen. She is also survived by her sisters Raquel (Armando) and Alicia (Tito), and her brother Washington. Iris loved her church family as well. She never turned down an opportunity to share her love for the Lord with anyone whose path she crossed. Iris spent many happy hours studying and praising her Lord at church. The family wishes to thank the church family at Summit Drive Baptist Church for their love and support when it was most needed. They also wish to extend their thanks to the RIH Cancer Clinic staff. A Celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in the Summit Drive Baptist Church, 1975 Summit Dr., with Pastor Harry Bicknell officiating.
