It is with great sadness that the family of the late Helen Mae Kearney of St. Lawrence, announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Sunday March 4, 2012 at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Children Jerry (Phyllis) of St. Lawrence, Jackie Elliott of Brampton, ON., Kevin (Marina) of Lloyd Minister, AB., Gord (Joyce) of St. Lawrence, Olivia (Tony) Byrne of Corner Brook, Emma Kearney (Dwayne) of St. Lawrence, Bill (Jackie) of Rocky Harbour, Mary (Ed) Slaney of St. Lawrence, Ag Kearney of Ft. MacMurray, Cyril of Toronto, ON., and Diane (Rod) Murphy of St. Lawrence; Sisters Sylvia Ducette, Carmel Boland, Betty Loder and Madeline Clarke; Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends; Pre-deceased by son Robert (June), Husband Robert Sr. (August 25, 2008) and Parents Richard & Theresa Clarke.
Funeral Mass took place on Thursday March 8, 2012 at 10:30am. Interment followed at Mt. Cecilia RC Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Helen’s memory, donations may be made to Save Our Parish Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
