GEORGE THOMAS PIPER 1923 ~ 2007 George Thomas Piper of Kamloops, BC, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 83 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce, children Diane (Brian) of Prince George, BC, Ian (Lynn) Piper of Virginia, USA, step children Doug Critch (Kay) of Newfoundland, Robert Critch of BC, Clarence (Angela) Critch of Alberta, Rick (Rose) Critch of Ontario, Greg (Marie) Critch of Newfoundland, Barb Critch of Ontario, and Debbie (Mike) Probst of Arkansas, USA; two granddaughters and fifteen grandchildren from second marriage; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Adelia in 2006, four sisters and two brothers. George was born on August 28, 1923. He started his career with the Royal Canadian Navy and continued with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 20+ years. He also served as a Penitentiary Guard. George was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 52, the Eternal Order of Eagles, and the Lions Club. Visitation/Viewing will take place from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 in the Rosewood Room at Kamloops Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Frank Allen officiating.
