The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, July 14, 2008, of Marie Richard, wife of the late Nazaire Richard of Miscouche, formerly of Mt. Carmel, at the age of 94 years. She is the last surviving member of her family. She is the daughter of the late Jean Bruno and Marie Gallant. She is survived by two daughters, Leonie Arsenault of Hoyt, N.B., and Cecile (Claudette Gallant) O'Halloran of Miscouche, and 10 grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by son John, grandson, Ronnie, great-grandson, Trevor, and great-great-grandson Braxton, and all her brothers and sisters. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Wednesday, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitation shall be received on Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, personal donations would be greatly appreciated. Interment in the church cemetery.
