FIELD, DONALD L. - Donald L. Field passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2012 at Camp Hill Veteran Hospital Halifax N. S. Born in Apple River, Nova Scotia on October 23, 1923. He was the son of the late Everett and Helen (Scott) Field. He is survived by his wife Marguerite (Keddy), daughter Lorraine (Aiton) McQuinn and Gloria (Seth) House both of Sussex N.B., step-daughter Kathie (Kevin Parker) Brown New Minas N.S., grandchildren Tara Black, Shane McQuinn, Jeremy House, Miranda Thomson, Emily House, Ryan Brown and Erika Brown, eight great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Audrey Field. Besides his parents he is predeceased by sisters Margaret Mitton (Mervin), Grace Copp (Arden), Jennie O'Brien (Millage), brothers Raymond (Mabel) and Sydney (Audrey).
Visitation will take place Friday, March 9th from 7 to 9 pm at the Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick, N.S. from where at funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 10th at 2 pm, followed by internment at Elm Grove Cemetery. Donations in Don's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Heart and Stroke or charity of choice.
