Passed peacefully away at his residence surrounded by his loving family and Dr. Paul Skirving on Sunday, December 6, 2009, Seymour Chafe of Kilbride, aged 70 years. Predeceased by parents Henry and Lucy Chafe; stepmother Elizabeth Ann Chafe; brothers: George, Gordon and Herm; sister Ivy. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 46 years Shirley (nee Senior); daughters: Debbie (Kelvin), Linda (Rick), Ivy (J.J.); sons: Dale (Friend Lorna), John (Karen); ten precious grandchildren: Jimmy, Tyler, Brandon, Brittney, Tasha, Alyssa, Deanna, Destiny, Kailey and Hannah; brother Euan; mother and father-in-law Jack and Hannah Senior; special sister-in-law Susane Ballard (Jack); brother-in-law Albert Senior (Heather); special nieces: Lucy and Debbie Chafe; nephew Gordon Chafe; co-workers of Cowan’s Optical of Bidgoods Plaza; as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, December 8th and Wednesday, December 9th from 2-9 and on Thursday, December 10th from 10-12 noon. Funeral service will be held from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Goulds, on Thursday, December 10th at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
