We, the family of the late Howard Meechan wish to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for the love and support, kind words and stories shared with us during our difficult time. We thank the ER doctors and nurses as well as the CCU doctors and nurses at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Thank you to Father Leo Boone, choir and Ladies Auxiliary of St. Anne's Church for a beautiful service and lunch afterwards. Thank you to the staff of JM Curry Funeral Home for their kindness and professionalism. Thank you to the pallbearers Mike Meechan (brother), friends Michael Connor, Wayne Lownes, Craig Boudreau, Karen MacIntyre, Louise Murphy and Valerie Schaffner. Thank you for the excellent job on the readings done by Margaret Ann Green (sister) and Gail McNeil (family best friend). A special thank you to "Employability Partnership" for honouring Howard's memory at a memorial breakfast. To all those who, sent food, mass cards, flowers, made charitable donations, phoned and sent e-mails it was greatly appreciated.
