PUGSLEY, F. Lester - 69, of West Brook, Cumberland Co. passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at home. Born in West Brook, he was a son of the late Peter and Bertha (Hicks) Pugsley. He was a retired farmer. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his step-mother, the former Sophie (Dowe) Evans. Funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday [December 6, 2009] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Elizabeth Davies officiating. Burial in the New Canaan Cemetery.
