YORKE, Clayton W. – 81, of Yorke Settlement, Cumberland Co. passed away Monday, December 07, 2009 at the Infirmary, QEII, Halifax. Born in Ramshead River, he was a son of the late Russell and Essie (Vickery) Yorke. He is survived by daughters, Wendy Meldrum (Murray), Southampton; Arlene Collins (Corlas), Yorke Settlement; Kathryn Rhindress (Rod), Shinimicas; a sister, Leoda Varner (Aubrey), Yorke Settlement; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Lorna in 2003; sisters, Eileen, Ruby; brothers, Carson, Austin, Hubert. There will be no funeral services by request.
