The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday December 6, 2009 of Joyce Gallant (nee Paquet) of Sherwood and formerly of Souris, age 73 years. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Thursday morning 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral to be held on Thursday morning, December 10, 2009 to St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made in Joyce’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Souris Hospital Equipment Fund would be appreciated.
