(June 8, 1945- March 9, 2012): Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents George and Catherine Hanrahan, her infant sister Maria, along with her Granddaughter Ashley, Grandson Kyle and nephews: Thomas Hanrahan and Charles Hanrahan Jr. Leaving to mourn their sad loss, her loving and devoted husband Eugene of 45 years, her four precious daughters: Debbie (Mark), Jackie (Clyde), Georgina (Eddie) and Michelle (Ken). Leaving with cherished memories, her eight grandchildren: Alan, Kristine, Gene, Joey, Jessica, James, Blake and Tara, along with her darling great granddaughter Sophia Hutton. Also leaving her five sisters one being her best friend Helen (Reg), Frances (Bernard), Audrey (Andre), Lillian (Clyde) and Darlene (Joe) as well as her four brothers: John P. (Ann Marie), George (Mary), Phonce (Kay) and Charl including Eugene’s family and friends whom she loved dearly. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends along with Alan Hutton Sr. Vickie was extremely devoted to her work, she took pride in helping seniors and she showed them love and compassion every day. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, 329 Freshwater Road on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. No Flowers by request.
