Peacefully at his home on Friday, March 9, 2012 of Mr. Herbert C. Scott of Cornwall, age 96 years.
Beloved husband of the late Jean E. (Frizzell) Scott and dear father of Merrill (Barbara), Carl (Lorna), Clark (Marlene) and Edwin (Janice). He is also survived by 17 loving grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; his son-in-law Charles MacKinnon; his sister Mary Inman of Hingham Mass.; and sisters-in-law Ethel and Doris Scott.
Herbert was predeceased by his parents Seymour and Catherine (Murray) Scott; daughter Barbara MacKinnon; grandson Brian MacKinnon; brothers Melvin, John , Hector, Harold; and sisters Ida and Lillian.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. until time of the funeral.
