Luella Mae Murray age 96, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Drew Nursing Home, Sackville, NB.
Born in Southampton, NS she was a daughter of the Late Leslie G. and Hilda (Skidmore) Rector.
Luella enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by half brothers; Donald Rector, Hanover, Germany, Utley (Zenith) Rector, Parrsboro, Clifford (Joyce) Rector, Debert, Myles Rector, Amherst and James (J.J.) Rector, Newmarket, ON.; half sister, Kathleen (Charles) Kyle, Warren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, David Murray; step mother, Eunice M. (Sherriff) Rector; brothers, Ross and Ernest; half sisters, Frances Clattenburg, Florence Tennant, and Jessie Smith, sister-in-law Irmgard Rector.
Arrangements have been entrusted to A. H. Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill, (902 597 2361). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 10:30 am from the West Brook Cemetery.
