The family of the late Gerald Yetman would like to extend their sincere thanks to everyone for their kind support during their father’s illness and passing. To those who brought food, sent flowers, made donations to charities in Gerald’s honour, we are overwhelmed by your generosity. To Father Jim Attwood, St. Joseph’s Church North Sydney, thank you for your warm touching service. It provided great comfort to our family. Thank you to St. Joseph\'s Church choir who provided beautiful music during mass.Special thanks to Tim Patterson, Ryan Hollohan and Jessica Hollohan, who bravely stepped forward to do the liturgical readings which we know made their \"poppy\" very proud. To Peter Walsh and his kind and professional staff, your calm and gentle manners were greatly appreciated during this difficult period. To the staff at Taigh Na Mara nursing home in Glace Bay, words cannot express how much we value the care you gave our father during his three and half years with you. You are forever in our hearts and prayers. To the many tributes paid to our father for his years of service to the labour movement and to the community at large, we have been deeply touched by your memories and the respect that you have shown to Gerald. He never lost sight of his values and convictions.
