(nee Cooper) Passed peacefully away on February 27, 2008 at the Lions Manor Nursing Home, Placentia, with her family at her side, Mary Newhook of Norman's Cove, age 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Eric; mother and father, mother and father-in-law, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law. Leaving to mourn eleven children: Vivian (Sam), Ruby (Clayton), Norm (Lynn), Leslie (Coralee), Elizabeth (John), Larry, Terry (Sandi), Dianne (Gord), Ken, Bill, Theresa (Glenn); 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; five sisters and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, 17 Cabot Avenue, Whitbourne. Visitation 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28th and Friday, February 29th. Visitation on Saturday at the Church of the Good Shepherd Anglican Church, Norman's Cove 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral. Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. As Mom loved flowers, they will be gratefully accepted in her memory or donations can be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital.
