CLARA KRIESE With great sadness we announce the passing of Lizzie Clara Kriese. Clara passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Inland Hospital with her family at her side. She will always be, always remembered for her loving heart and strength in the face of her illness. Clara was born in Beausejour, Manitoba, where she married her childhood sweetheart, Bill Kriese. They moved to Dryden, Ontario and later to B.C. They first located in Westwold and then in Kamloops. Clara taught Sunday School at Calvary Temple for many years. After her husband passed away she started a Widow's Support Group in Kamloops. Clara was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer two years ago. She amazed her doctors by her strength and with God's Blessings lived another two years. She will be lovingly missed by many friends and family; daughters Deanna Goodkey (Russell), Janice Wilson (Les), Bev Regan (Lance); grand-daughter Lana Todd (Murray); sisters Elsie Kriese, Margaret Sideen, Sarah Auren, Doreen Olsen and Sheryn Gummer, brother Laurence Boss and adopted family, Al and Gaye Morrissette. She was pre-deceased by her husband William Kriese and son Gerald. We wish to thank the Renal Unit, the Cancer Clinic and all the Staff on 3 West at the Royal Inland Hospital for their loving care. Special thanks also to Doctors Krueger, Wijeyesinghe and Avanessian. Donations may be made to the Royal Inland Hospital Renal Unit in lieu of flowers. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in the Kamloops Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Andrew Picklyk officiating.
