ELLEN THERESA HANOVER 1932 - 2007 On May 10, 2007 Ellen Hanover passed away peacefully at Cariboo Memorial Hospital at the age of 75 years. She was born August 1st, 1932 in Port Alberni, B.C. She was a great Mom and a wonderful Nanny and will be greatly missed by her children, stepchildren and grandchildren; Leslie (Dennis) Schell and their two children Katie and Connor of Shingletown, California; Theresa Hanover (Juan Ditoro) and their two children, Emily and Jonathan of Horsefly, B.C.; Stephen (Cathie) Scheidegger, and their three children, Nicholas, Devon and Kyle of Kamloops, B.C.; David Scheidegger of Kamloops, B.C.; Leslie Markewicz (Roy McParland) of North Bay, Ontario. She is survived by her brother Pat Littleton (Julie) of Horsefly, B.C. Ellen was predeceased by her first husband, Stanley Hanover in 1991, and her life partner Robert Scheidegger in 2005. Ellen was an accomplished painter and gardener. She lived at Pinantan Lake and enjoyed bird watching and nature. Her friends played a very important role in her life and she enjoyed keeping in contact with them. There will be a tea to celebrate Ellen's life at the Army Navy & Air Force Veterans Club at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2007. Come and have a cup of tea and share a story of Ellen. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. We love and miss you so much. Enjoy "tea time" with Bob and the angels.
