On December 8, 2009 Mr. Harold Dan Lippert passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops at the age of 86 years.

He is survived by his sister Florence (Fred) Wonnenberg; nieces and nephews, Frances Petruck, Phyllis (John) Vance, Gloria (Fred) Boyl, Malanda (Lorn) Warner-Olson, Judy Wonnenberg, Wayne Wonneberg, Lynda (Paul) Stabler, Brenda (Tom) Vandenbrink, Jeffrey (Sheryl) Lippert; eighteen great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Lenora Ackerman, Viola Hunter, Lily Reynolds and his brother Ray Lippert.

Harold was born December 7, 1923 at Schuler, Alberta, to parents Philip and Bertha Lippert. In his late teens, Harold moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta where he helped his father build houses. Then on to Kelowna, BC where he enjoyed his Motorcycle Club and many trips. He continued building more houses with his dad. After his dad's passing, he moved to Calgary. Among other adventures he hauled trailers to see most of Canada and the USA. Next to Surrey, BC where he partnered with his mother, to open a gas station and repair shop. He was an excellent and dedicated mechanic. And then another move to Kelowna for semi-retirement and next to Kamloops to be near family.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with The Very Reverend Louise Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
