Passed peacefully away, Dec. 6th, 2009, at the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Centre, in the presence of his loving family, Joseph Boyde Harvey at 71 years of age. Predeceased by daughters Joanne and Jennifer. Left with fond memories his wife, Sonia (nee Neary), son, Kenneth and darling grandchildren Jordan, Katie and Emma. Sisters: Grace Boyd (Bill), Burlington, Ont., Faith Rees, Peterborough, Ont., and brother John, Calgary, Alta.. Sisters-in-law: Diane Bemis (John), Yarmouthport, MA., Daphne Custodio (Jules), Labrador City, Betty and Alice Neary, St. John’s, Eleanor Burke, St. John’s, Mary Ryan, Cambridge, Ont., and brother-in-law, Tom Neary, Cambridge, Ont. Cremation has taken place at Joe’s request. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home, Freshwater Rd. on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in Carnell’s Chapel, Saturday at 11 a.m. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in Joe’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
