PARE On Wednesday, May 23, 2007 Mrs. Rose Colette Pare of Kamloops passed away at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her son Roger, granddaughter Karen (Randy) Gallagher of Summerland and their children Brittany and Ryland; two sisters Mary Jean Fink of Calgary and Emma (Gus) Kneteman of Vancouver and nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1949. Born in Quesnel on August 6, 1921, she married Harold in 1947. Mrs. Pare settled in Kamloops where she operated Paree Beauty Salon for several years. She was a member of the Kamloops Golf & Country Club, and enjoyed cross country skiing and more lately her ladies coffee group. Recently Mrs. Pare had been an active volunteer at the Thrift Cellar. Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Rose's life on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Maione officiating.
