SECORD With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Rose Marie Frances Secord, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She died peacefully at home in her sleep on May 26, 2007 at the age of 57. She will be greatly missed by her husband Jim, sons Jamie (Leisl) and Bill (Heather); grandchildren Ayra and Emma. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters Dianne (Larry Parks) of Surrey, Helen Prescott of Coquitlam and Sharon (Gary Keay) of Port Coquitlam and her brother Ted Schwing (Theresa) of Port Coquitlam and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Leo and Regina Schwingenschloegl. Rose was born in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan on September 15, 1949. Rose owned and operated a beauty salon in Prince George, "Roses - Golden Comb". She was an accomplished artist and painter and she loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by those who knew her! Prayers will be recited on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Church, 2797 Sunset Drive. The Reverend Father Nicholas Forde O.M.I. will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at the church on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
