Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday March 21, 2012, of Francis Frederick "Frank" Dawe of Summerfield, aged 79 years. Born in Sydney, N.S., on June 11, 1932, son of the late Frederick and Lillian (Perrin) Dawe. Husband of Emma "Betty" (Langley) Dawe. Father of Lila (Dave) Carson, Alberta; Blanche (Sheldon) Morrison, Alberta; Lillian Goyan (Fred Louthers), Lower Sackville, N.S.; Frankie (Lulu) Dawe, Alberta; and John (Marguerite), Sydney, N.S. Grandfather to nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Brother of Albert (Lorraine) Dawe, New Brunswick, and Mary Fitzpatrick, Alberta. Brother-in-law of Marion (Mae) Dawe, Enfield, N.S.; Margaret Dawe, Glace Bay, N.S; Gordon (Elizabeth) Langley, Russell Langley, and long-time family friend Leo Ongo, all of Sydney, N.S. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment in Breadalbane People's Cemetery. Members of the Kensington Lions Club will hold a Lions Memorial Service at the Funeral Home Friday at 6:30 p.m.
