BROWNE, Margaret (nee Stanley) – 1923 – 2012 - Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on March 23 at The Agnes Pratt Home. Predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Philpott, brothers Bill, Frank, Leo and sisters Marion and Mary. Leaving to mourn sons: John (Patsy) Browne and Rick Browne; daughters: Barb (Pat) Holden, Peggy (Doug) Snow, and Susan (Paul) Kelly. (Predeceased by Jack Browne – Father of her children). Also leaving to mourn son-in-law Brian Philpott; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathleen Rowe and Betty Noah; sisters-in-law: Shirley Stanley and Beth Stanley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the staff of The Agnes Pratt Home and Ruby Manor. Margaret will be waked at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, March 26th at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church. Cremation to follow with inurnment at the R. C. Cemetery, Kilbride. Please join us in celebration of Margaret’s beautiful life at Corpus Christi Parish following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador would be greatly appreciated.
