BROWNRIGG, LESLIE - Died peacefully at his residence Bocabec NB, Saturday, March 24, 2012 surrounded by his family, Leslie Hill Brownrigg. He was born July 21, 1931, son of the late Hill and Mary(Miller) Brownrigg and husband of the late Barbara Kaye Saunders. Survived by John (Ann) Brownrigg of Bocabec, NB, Mary Craig (Michael) of St. Andrews, NB, Barb Madill (Hugh) of Bocabec, NB, Bill Brownrigg (Linda) of Chamcook, NB, Karen Garnett (Ralph) of Bocabec, NB, Cindy Needler (David) of Chamcook, NB, Lorena Brownrigg (Manzer) of Bocabec, NB, 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special friend, Lois McMullen. Predeceased by his brother Bob. Leslie was always willing to give advice. Leslie was avid hunter, curler, golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed family gatherings at the Big House. He also enjoyed the camp at Bonny River. He showed great interest in his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or funeral service by request. There will be a graveside committal service at the St. Andrews Rural Cemetery on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM. with Rev. Canon John Matheson officiating. Following the service family and friends are invited to gather at the Big House in Bocabec for a reception. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Extra Mural Program, Charlotte County Cancer Society or charity of ones choice.
