RHODA FAYE BROCKINGTON July 5, 1919 - June 23, 2007 It is with sad hearts that the family of Rhoda Faye Brockington announce her passing on June 23, 2007. Rhoda was born and raised in Biggar, Saskatchewan. After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan and McGill University, Rhoda and her husband , Colin Brockington moved to Cranbrook, B.C. where they raised their three girls. Rhoda moved to Kamloops in 1987 to be closer to her family. Throughout her life, Rhoda was actively involved in golf, swimming (McGill Swim and Dive Team, BC Senior Games), skiing, bridge, volunteering and was passionate about nature and the outdoors. She loved and lived life to the fullest. We will dearly miss her energy, spunk and wonderful sense of humour. Rhoda is survived by her three children Pamela (Thor), Sheila and Daphne as well as her grandchildren Christy, Jennifer, Richard, Kara and Pietur and great grandchildren Kieran, Haylee and Joah. The family would like to give special thanks to all the exceptional people that cared for their mother and grandmother at Ponderosa Lodge and Kamloops Senior Village. There will be no service in Kamloops. A family celebration of Rhoda's life will take place in the Kootenays in July.
