ENGLISH, Stephen — Steve passed away suddenly at his home in St. Bride’s, Placentia Bay, on Thursday, December 10, 2009 age 89 years. Predeceased by his wife Tillie, his parents Jack and Bridget, step-mother Agnes, brothers Cyril, Mike, Frank, and his sisters Margaret, Nellie and Lena Greene. Leaving to mourn Steve’s memories are his sons Cyril, Paul, Pat, Rodney and his daughter Genny; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially his grand-daughter Nellie Mayo. Also leaving to mourn are his two sisters Rose Foley, Margaret McGrath, his brother John, and a large circle of family and friends on the Cape Shore. Steve will be resting at Sacred Heart Church in St. Bride’s with funeral on Monday, December 14 at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Mannings Funeral Service.
