HICKEY, Edward Bruce – Passed away at the Health Science Centre on December 9th, 2009 after a brief illness in the presence of his loving family, Edward Hickey, aged 77 years. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Florence and brother Ronnie. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife of 59 years Doreen; children: Bruce (Lynne Marie), Sandra (Orv), Marilyn Larder (Charlie), Jim (Michelle) and David (Pam); grandchildren: Andria and Ryan, Joel and Karin, Stephen and Jonathon (and their father Rob), Claire, Maggie, Emily and Patrick, Morgan and Maria and one great-grandson Noah; brothers: Jim (Bonnie), Leo, Leonard (Elke), Clarence (Yvonne), Gerard (Rose); sister: Margaret; sister-in-law Betty; special cousin: Joanie Moumblow (Ron), and his special spoiled dog “Tip.” Special thanks to the staff of 5SA and the Coronary Care Unit and to Dr. Brendan Hollohan, his family doctor. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place from St. Patrick’s Church on Saturday, December 12th at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
