BILLINGS, GEORGINA DEVEDA - The passing of Georgina Deveda Billings, formerly of Keswick Ridge, NB, wife of the late Basil Billings, occurred on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on July 3, 1922 in Burtts Corner, NB, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Lillian (Hanson) Brewer. She was a member of Burtts Corner Church of Christ. Georgina loved music, reading her Bible, going for drives and especially loved the time spent with her grandchildren. Georgina is survived by her son, Merlyn Billings (Georgina) of Hanwell, NB; daughters, Myrna Allen (James) of Durham Bridge, NB, Cathy Moholitney (Gary) of Edmonton, AB and Linda Latouche (Richard) of Queenstown, NB; nine grandchildren, Kirk, Scott, David, Mark, Philip, Angela, Kevin, Michael and Rachael; ten great grandchildren; sister in law, Phyllis Brewer; several nieces and nephews. Georgina was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Beside her parents, husband and siblings, she was predeceased by one son, Philip.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Burtts Corner Church of Christ on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 2 pm with Pastor Graham Crandall officiating. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery at a late date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Pine Grove Nursing Home.
