O’BRIEN, Delma Ann — Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, Delma Ann O’Brien, age 53 years, of Cape Broyle. Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Catherine (Johnson) O’Brien. Leaving to mourn son Stephen, Edmonton AB and daughter Janelle, Cape Broyle; brothers Terry O’Brien, Mount Pearl, and Noel O’Brien (Wanda), Spruce Grove, AB; sisters Nancy Harte (Jerome), Witless Bay, Marion O’Brien (Calvin), St. John’s, and Audrey Swain (Ron), St. John’s; special friends Bernadette O’Brien, Shelley Lahey, Cindy Kavanagh and her card club buddies; caregiver Sandy O’Brien; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a large circle of close friends and neighbours. Resting at Ryan’s Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation Saturday, Dec. 12 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 13 from 2 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church Cape Broyle on Monday Dec. 14 at 11 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of the Cape Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
