Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on March 27, 2012, Neil Bannister, age 91. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret, parents Colin and Angela and sister Printzlyne. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories sons: Neil Robert (Nancy) and Carl (Joan); three grandchildren: Jane Bannister (John Bowden), Cody and Chad Bannister; one great-granddaughter, Lucy Bowden; one great-grandson, Thomas Bowden and a close circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at the Carnell’s Visitation and Reception Centre, 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl.
