It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend from Bonavista, Una, age 87, on Monday, March 26, 2012 at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Laura Belle Pardy, husband Jeremiah "Jerry", daughter Barbara, son Tom, brothers Ben, Alex, Thomas, Kirby, Frank, Jack, and sister-in-law Gladys. She will be sadly missed by her son Mike (Sylvia); daughter Catherine (Clyde), daughter Donna (Tony), daughter Geri (Fred); son Edward (Fran); daughter-in-law Joan; brother Rance (Marlene); sisters-in-law: Ella, Marjorie, Dora, and Pearl; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and special friends. Resting in Bonavista at Strathie's Funeral Home. Viewing on Thursday, March 29th and Friday, March 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Funeral to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday March 31st at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bonavista.
