It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Jane Ellsworth announce her sudden passing at her family residence, on Friday December 11th, 2009 in her 70th year, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Samuel, her daughters; Sheila (Wilfred Shears) of Rocky Harbour,Karen (Scott Majeau) of Spruce Grove, AB, and Colleen (Grant Majeau) of Fort McMurray, AB, her son; Jason (Sonya) Ellsworth, her 7 grandchildren; Stephanie, Justin, Cheryl, Jessica, Jenna, Devon, and Jesse. Her 5 sisters; Vivian (Lloyd) Major of Rocky Harbour, Glady’s (Henry) Payne of St. Paul's, Ruby (Lloyd) Ellsworth of Rocky Harbour, Flossie (Alex) Humber of Corner Brook, and Hughena (Hounsel) Payne of Cow Head, mother was predeceased by her son; Gary Ellsworth, on April 21st, 1976, her parents; Mary and Clyde Bennett, and her mother and Father in law; Effie and Eli Ellsworth. Mother also leaves to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family, friends and her extended family. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Mathew’s Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour, today Monday December 14th, 2009 from the hours of 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m., from where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev: John Olsson, and Major: Wayne Pike officiating with the Burial to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Rocky Harbour, N.L. Flowers and or donations to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Shirley would be gracious appreciated by the family.
