Passed peacefully away on Sunday, December 13, 2009, age 88 years. Daughter of the late Harold and Cora Morgan. Throughout her working career of 43 years, Reta held the position of secretary, office of the District Director, Postal Telegraphs, and Canada Post. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law William B. Crosbie and H. Wallace Wood. She is lovingly remembered by her three sisters Eva Crosbie of Bay Roberts, Audrey Wood and Olive Dwyer, and brother-in-law Douglas H. Dwyer of St. John’s. She is remembered as a special aunt by her nephews and nieces: Harold (Barbara) and Bill (Grace) Crosbie; Andy (Patti), Sandra (Rob) and Wally (Nellie) Wood; Lynn Dwyer (Gerard Farrell), Cathy Gosse (Jeff), Jill Dwyer — Bettles (Steve); their children and grandchildren. She is remembered by members of the Morris family, staff of and friends at Hillcrest Estates, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Visitation Monday and Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services from Barrett’s Chapel on Wednesday, December 16 at 11 a.m., followed by interment at the United Church Cemetery, Coley’s Point at 1:30 p.m. Flowers in her memory or memorial donations to Wesley United Church Building Fund or Grace United Church, Coley’s Point, graciously appreciated.
