HENWOOD, David L. – 79, of Parrsboro and Athol, Cumberland Co. passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Halfway River, he was a son of the late Silas and Annie (Dowe) Henwood. He is survived by daughters, Jocelyn Joyce and Gwen Joyce (Paul), of Athol. He was predeceased by sisters, Vera Henwood, Mabel Ayer; brothers, Albert, Hedley, Ernie, Herbie. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today (Sunday) at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday. Burial in the Parrsboro United Cemetery.
