The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Abram-Village, P.E.I., Aug. 5, 2008, of Felix F. Arsenault, aged 87 years. Felix was born on Oct. 27, 1920, to Fidele and Jacqueline Arsenault. Affectionately known as Felix 'The Cat,' he is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Jeanne (Gallant), daughters, Jeannita Bernard (Marcel), Donna Barnes (Leslie), sons Amand (Joanne), Louis (Carole) and his brother, Edmond (Imelda). Felix was a devoted to Pepe to 11 grandchildren: Serge, Ghislain, Caroline, Lucien, Denis, Janelle, Charles, Philip, Alexandre, Erik, Jacob, and one great-grandchild, Andre-Felix. He is also survived by a large and loving extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Felix was predeceased by brothers, Alyre, Nazaire, Alfred and sisters Rosina and Angeline. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville until Thursday, Aug. 7, then to the St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours n Wednesday, Aug. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 7, from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
